Uganda offers fiber optic cable delivery service

Bayobab Uganda has launched a 260-kilometer fibre optic route connecting Kampala to Malaba, enhancing Uganda's digital connectivity and regional integration.Bayobab Uganda, a subsidiary of MTN Group, officially unveiled the Uganda Railway National Long Distance (NLD) fibre optic route, which runs from Kampala to Malaba at the Kenyan border.
